How often are JEPES evaluations conducted?

JEPES evaluations are conducted annually, which means they occur once each year. This annual evaluation process allows for a comprehensive assessment of a junior enlisted member's performance over an extended period. By evaluating performance on a yearly basis, it provides ample time for service members to develop their skills, achieve their goals, and demonstrate their growth and contributions to their unit.

Monthly or quarterly evaluations would be too frequent and could lead to an overwhelming administrative workload, making it difficult to accurately assess someone's overall performance over time.
